About Us

Colonial Woods is uniquely small and provides a home-like environment for approximately 25 residents. Over the last 3 decades, Wheeler Care Centers has owned and operated several personal care homes. Colonial Woods is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.

Colonial Woods is appropriate for seniors, seniors with mild dementia, or people with physical, behavioral, mental health, or cognitive disabilities. Our residents’ range in age from 49 years old to 100 years old!

Colonial Woods offers peace of mind through care-free living. However, we are not a medical facility and we do not staff medical personnel. Our unique size allows us to provide customized person-centered care and develop meaningful relationships with our staff and residents.
